Will Hibs beat Celtic on Sunday?
Wunjo is the rune of joy
The reversal of this rune suggests that joy is withheld. Since joy is frequently communal, this rune often suggests loneliness. Alternatively, some have seen Wunjo as the rune of perfection and the rune of the gods. Therefore this rune reversed could signal a feeling of separation from one's deity, or as imperfection in an important work.
So that's another no then. bugger. |

And it looked like we would win again, a mere two years after our last victory. It was sadly not to be. Although, when Donkey Dave scored an og it did raise a smile, if not hope.
Hibs battled through to the first Coca Cola Cup Final, this time at Parkhead and in front of 20,000 Hibbies put up a rousing performance. But it was not to be as Super Arsehole scored a late winner. |

And so it came to this. The team that just would not die. Within months of Wallet mercenaries' takeover bid we were at Hampden, hoping to take the trophy home. Which we duly did. For most Hibbies there on Sunday, they will probably remember this. I certainly do: it came the day after Scotland lost the Rugby World Cup Semi Final. If only hibby Scott Hastings had taken the kick rather than scumbo Gavin Hastings we would have won the world cup. |
