Written by Bobby S
Saturday, 21 February 2004

Hibs went down today at Ibrox, with the Forces of Darkness actually managing to score with a penalty. Not once, but twice.

Obviously Frank De Boer, was not one of the scorers.

Hibernian: Andersson, Whittaker, Doumbe, Caldwell, Edge, Orman (Riordan 73), Reid, Wiss (Dobbie 60), Thomson, Scott Brown, O'Connor (McManus 76). Subs Not Used: Alistair Brown, Baillie. Image

Williamson offers his opinion on the Scotland debate

ImageHe said:

"You have to be Scottish to play for Scotland. In fact, if you want to play for Scotland you have to play in the Scottish league. We'll see how many players want to play then."

"This new rule will make a mockery of international football. At the moment we question the commitment of Scottish players in the national team. But what will we be like watching a Frenchman or an Italian playing for our country?"

Hibs players all injured
Written by Bobby S
Wednesday, 18 February 2004

Colin Murdock has already pulled out of the Norn Iron international squad, but it's being reported that Kevin Thomson (hernia) and Scott Brown (painful calf) are struggling to be fit for Scotlands' Under 21 meeting tonight with Hungary.

Which makes me wonder. Why will all these players be fit for Saturday, and if Hibs were playing tonight would they all make it?Image
