Hello and Welcome to Mass Hibsteria OnlineAnother logo

Welcome to what can be called the sister project to the written fanzine Mass Hibsteria.

As times change and medias change we have decided that it is time for Hibsteria to take up that mantle and have a web prescence. It does not mean the death of the paper version, and the next issue [105] is due out for the Aberdeen game on the 30th August.

We hope you enjoy looking over the old articles as they are added, and maybe feel encouraged to add an article of your own sometime, after all it is YOUR fanzine.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Colin Leslie and Stevie Burns, because if it had not been for their youthful excuberance then none of this would be possible. I'd also like to thank all the past Editors and contributors, and fanzine sellers without whose time effort and help this would not be possible. Thanks at this point are due to everyone who has made sterling contributions over the years.

I'd also like to thank Stuart Crowther and his hibs.net team for hosting hibsteria for many years, giving us a web prescence.

Over to Bobby, who is responsible for all the technical nonsense.

Happy reading.

Ali Tait
Editor Mass Hibsteria

Hi there :)

As one of the team responsible for Mass Hibsteria Online I'd like to tell you what we plan to offer. We are in the process of adding each and every article from every back issue of Mass Hibsteria to the online archive, which as you can imagine is a mammoth task considering there are 104 issues to scan in, edit and add to the database. There's an update panel on the right of the screen which lets you know what we are adding and how close it is to being online.

What we also plan to offer is new writing from some of the best Hibs writers on the net, available online. We can't promise the site will be updated daily, that depends on the contributors, like yourself, that have made MHHM the oldest established source of Hibs writing outside of the mainstream press. We aim to take it into the digital generation, but we need YOUR help to achieve this. We are always on the look out for new and exciting writers, please take the time to send us any funnies/comments/articles or anything you think should be read by Hibs fans.

Mass Hibsteria incorporating Hibs Monthly. For the fans, by the fans. As it has been for the last 16 years.
