The official website is tonight reporting that ALL of Hibs allocation of 35 000 tickets has now been sold.
It's hard to believe but within a day of going on general sale, Hibs fans have managed to procure 13000 tickets in todays general sale to add to the 22000 that were shifted to priority groups.
Colin McNeill on the official club website doth say:
"It has been an amazing day,the staff manning the ticket office have worked flat-out and in good humour, and they will continue to work once again throughout tonight to ensure that those fans who are expecting to be able to collect their pre-booked tickets from tomorrow will be able to do so."
"I would like to thank them but also the fans themselves, who waited patiently - many for several hours in very cold conditions today. I'm delighted that they all were rewarded by received tickets for the game. I would like to apologise to those who tried to get through via telephone today but could not do so, and hope that they understand that priority had to be given to those supporters who were waiting at the stadium." |
