An announcemount is expected today to allow Bobby Williamson to continue his managerial career in England.
It seems EXTREMELY likely that Bobby Williamson will be confirmed as the new Plymouth Argyle manager at a press conference today. So what now for Hibs?
It's true he was not universally popular at Easter Road, although many more fans had a grudging acceptance that he was working under difficult conditions.
The favourite of the Hibs board appears to be John Robertson. This has been met with varying reactions, from disbelief to a muted acceptance. Robertson himself seems keen to take on the task, but many fans have a problem with someone who spent almost his entire career with our local rivals. Success might need to be immediate to allay these fears.
Personally, I would accept Robertson and give him a chance. I would still worry that Alan Kernaghan, or John Connolly would not be a better choice. |
