On this day in Hibstory - April 27th

Two years ago we drew 2-2 at home with Dundee. The Hibs team that day was: Caig, Orman, Smith, Fenwick, Allan Dempsie, Townsley (Daquin, 80 ), Wiss (Jack, 84 ), O'Neil (Caldwell, 84 ), Arpinon, O'Connor, Brewster. The unused subs were Nicky Colgan and Kevin Nicol. The goalscorers were Derek Townsley (really), and Garry O Connor. The attendance was 8852.

Four years ago today marked the final game with the Easter Road slope. Hibs defeated Aiberdeen 1-0, in our first season back from division 1. The Hibs team was: Colgan, Collins, Hughes, Dennis, Murray, Sauzee, Lovell, Brebner, Latapy, Lehmann, Miller. The unused subs were: Tom Phillips, Martin McIntosh, Earl Jean, Pat McGinlay and some useless diddy called Paul Hartley. Kenny Miller scored the last ever goal "doon the slope" in the 53rd minute. Those were the days.
