Seven years ago today we capitulated at home to Celtic, in a season where we would ultimately face a relegation play with Airdire.
Seven years ago today the Hibs team was: Jim Leighton, Michael Renwick, Jamie McQuilken, Darren Dods, Joe McLaughlin, Brian Grant, Paul Tosh, Lee Power, Barry Lavety, Darren Jackson, Chris Jackson (Dave Elliot). Unused subs were Keith Wright and Brian Welsh. Lee Power had equalised for Hibs before the roof came down.
109 years ago today we thumped Renton 9-1 on our way to our second successive second division title.
