Just another three games on this day in history, but it holds particular fascination for myself
Back in 1991, we lost at St Mirren in the league, and in 1963 we beat St Mirren at Easter Road.
But back in 1985, we beat Rangers 1-0 at Easter Road. It was just another run of the mill end of season game, but it meant quite a lot to me, as this was my first Hibs game. It seems incredible to me, that it was 19 years ago (yes I know, I don't look old enough).
From what I can remember of the game, there was scarcely 7000 there, and Hibs goal was scored by Paul Kane and Craig Paterson was singled out for considerable abuse. But that's just what I remember.
