ATTENDANCE:

Oh dear. We lose to some baltic pub team, and our inter totty adventure grinds to a halt. Maybe we've just learned exactly why Scottish clubs don't enter [or do well] in this early early competition.

But, then again, I'm not so sure. If I'm being honest we lost this tie last week: in terrible conditions which were not the players fault. Also if we had drawn a team at the same stage of pre season as ourselves [as opposed to half way throught their season] we probably would have prevailed. Well I like to think so anyway.

Mogga had this to say: "Even the big teams like Manchester United and Liverpool lose to sides you would expect them to beat at this time of the year. So it’s understandable."

"I’m not saying we’d beat them nine times out of 10 but if we were to play this game at Christmas I think you’d see a different outcome."

With that little distraction out the way, Mogga can now concentrate on the big one: getting our squad ready for the Kilmarnock game on August 7th. Plenty of time. Maybe not enough time for miracles though.
