About

"This is only my second season at the club and I’d really just been hoping that towards the end of it I’d maybe get a seat on the bench with a view to starting to fight for my place next season.  To that extent I feel I am a year ahead of schedule but I also think I am being handled superbly by the boss, playing a few games and then dropping out for a wee while."

"I was delighted to start against Dundee as I hadn’t started a match for a wee while and I was more than happy to get another goal as it had also been a while since I’d scored."

"It’s tough for anyone to go to Ibrox and come away with a win and I think Hearts’ defeat at Fir Park shows that a draw there isn’t a bad result by any manner of means."

"I think there was perhaps a bit of over-reaction by some people to our results against Rangers and Motherwell but, to be honest, we didn’t listen to what anyone had to say about us and I think you saw that against Dundee."

"We are always totally determined to win and none of us gave any thought to anything other than the three points."

"We’ve been in third place for a wee while now, we’ve extended our lead again and all of us are determined to hold onto what we have."

"It was a very attack-minded team and with two midfielders who can defend there was also a good balance to the side."

"We are a good, young, solid team and hopefully we can keep things going the way they are just now."

"I was just happy to get on the park as it had been a while since I’d started a game and I was happy with my contribution. I thought that I played all right and getting the third goal allowed us to really relax."

"It’s up to the gaffer, of course, but now I am hoping that I can keep my place for the Cup game and help us progress to the semi-finals."
