Paul Fenwicks 4 year stay at ER looks to be finally, finally coming to an end as Tony sets about negotiating a pay off.
It's not entirely unexpected either; it's now more than a year since the 34 year old centre back made 104th appearance for Hibs. Paul was one of the players who took a pay cut for a contract extension, but did not feature at all in the first team after committing to ER until 2005.
He has continued to appear for the Canadian national team, and knocked back a loan move to Brechin last winter.
Mowbray said: "I'm trying to bring some new faces in and develop the club and Paul understands my predicament. Hopefully we can find him something else that suits him."
Alan Reid, the longest serving player has also been told his monthly contract will not be renewed and is on trial at St Johnstone. |
