Tonys treble is in tatters tonight, as Hibs go down at Tannadice after being minutes from a semi final place.

Hibs had taken a first half lead through Derek Riordan, but two goals from Jim McIntyre were to seal our fate. His first goal came three minutes from the end of normal time to keep Dundee United in the tie, whilst his second strike at the beginning of the second period of extra time proved the winner.

Hibs were hampered by injuries to Garry O' Connor who played no part, and to Sam Morrow who made a first half departure. Both will hopefully return against Rangers on Sunday.
